Online Process:
The website for the same is http://ceongl.nic.in This is the election commission site for the people of Nagaland.
- First of all, one needs to get a new form by
a new name from the site mentioned.
- The name of the form is form 6 and you need
this form to fill in all your details. For adding a new name in the list,
we need this form.
- Now you have to click on it and you will get
to see the form and it now you can save it on your system.
- Now, you will have to take a print out of
the same and after taking a print out, you need to fill all the details that
are asked.
- In case you find that you are not able to
fill the form, you should not worry as on the site you will find all the
steps that are required to fill the form.
- For filling the details, you need to have
everything in original with respect to all your certificates that are
birth certificate, passport size photo and also address proof details, you
will be needing all these things at the time of registration. In case it
is found later that the information that you gave is not valid/ true, then
your application will surely be cancelled.
- After you are done with all the filling up
of the details, you have to submit the form to the electoral office, after
you are done with this, your details will be recorded there.
- The
officer will also personally try to verify all your details, and once all
the verification is done, you will be told by them to take when your voter
id is ready.
