If you are 18 years of age, you should apply for the voter id card as it is

id provides you with an identity in itself and also helps you in getting a lot
of work done. You simply need to register and the everything follows.
For
registering, you will have to visit the site which is www.ceogujarat.nic.in. This is the site
where you can get a lot of information. There are a lot of options available.
Then you will have to select from that option which is the Online Voter
Registration Option. After selecting this option, you will be taken to a next
page where you will see the user registration steps. There are two things that
you can do there, one is to check whether your name is on the list or not and
if not then you can add your name.
You will also be provided with a unique
username and password. Keep that safe as it will be required by you to enter
all your details. With the help of this, you will be able to login the site.
After you login, you will get to see the type of forms that you have to fill.
There are different forms which are as Form 6 is to add names, Form 7 is when
you have to delete names, and Form 8 is in case you want to make some changes.
So, now you will have to select Form 6 and after that you will be taken to a
next page where you are supposed to enter all your details like that of name,
address, age and many more. An enrolled list will be listed out where you will
have to select any one name. Form 6 will be shown where you are supposed enter
all your details like name, address and some more. You are also required to
upload your birth certificate for that matter. Now click on submit.
After this,
you will get a pdf file, save that and take a print out of the same. Send it to
the electoral officer by post, as soon as they get it, they will send you the
voter id card to you.
