Any person who is living in Pondicherry and has also completed 18 years
of his age is eligible for getting a voter id card. And they must avail
this service without fail. This voter id card will provide an identity to

have a voter id card, you will not be allowed to vote and this will create
a hindrance in the growth of the country.

of the Election Commission of India together with the CEO of Pondy and they

- You have to first visit the site http://www.election.tn.gov.in
or another one which is www.ceopuducherry.py.gov.in
- After you log in, a registration link can be
seen by you. You have to click on that.
- You will be now taken to the next page. This
page will also have a proceed button. Before that, look for the form
option, be careful with that, if it is for first time then you have to
look for Form 6. And after that, download it.
- You will also get a mail conforming your
unique reference number. You have to conform that. It is only after that
you will be able to proceed further. Keep that number safely with you as
later in case you want to check your status, you can do that by the help
of this number.
- After
downloading, fill all the details that are required. Get its print and
send it to the electoral office. Once they verify it, only after that you
will get you voter id card.
